could you please give me some information about travelling with car in N.Italy:

-which is the best way to go to Alta Badia (Corvara), from Ancona or Venezia...as i noticed the road from Ancona is more km, but most of it, is highway...
-in Austria during winter, you MUST use winter tyres...what about italy?

if you could give me any more information please go on..

Winter tyres, yes if you would like to go to Alta Badia in winter, as it is located in the middle of the Dolomites, and last year for example there were more than lots of snow. I would recommend you to take the highway to Bolzano, take the exit Varna/Bressanone (about 50 km in the north of Bolzano) and take the road across Val Pusteria up to San Lorenzo, where you drive into Val Badia, at the end of which you reach Alta Badia. If you seek more information about this area in English, I would recommend you to visit the following link: http://www.alta-badia.org/en/
