We've got great news: Mammoth Mountain will open for the 2004/05 season on Thursday, October 21, 2004.
Winter came a little early this year. October storms have dumped four feet of snow on Mammoth Mountain in the last four days, allowing our earliest opening in a decade. Wind and weather permitting, Broadway Express and Discovery Chair will open Thursday at 8:30 a.m. allowing access to five trails. More lifts and terrain are planned to open for the weekend.
