economic crisis is here, and this was probably the last big trip for us until .... unknown....
there was no doubt where we decided to go...
Once again with ferry from Igoumenitsa to Ancona. Unfortunately the ferry left from Greece with 2 hours delay. Another one hour delayed in order to get out from Ancona. So we arrived at Tignes at 01:00 after midnight. Ok...the way was like a nightmare...Especially Col Iseran, and more specific when you drive midnight....I suppose that daytime is marvellous tour.
Furthermore, the hotel owner was sleeping....
And the tel. number i had was wrong (i got it from website....)
Thank good, we find a taxi driver in an open bar, who between the 6th and 7th glass of wine, told us that he knew the hotel owner. So he called him with his mobile-phone,waked him up, at finally at 3.00 in the morning we went to bed, in order to wake up around 6,45...cool
Unfortunately, at 26 June, when i return from the mountain, i noticed Starli's car in the parking.
I didnt see it before to meet up on the slopes...
Just went for a pizza after skiing....
i post a few photo from the two days of skiing in Tignes.
Those are outside our chalet-hotel...to be honest it was pretty nice,clean, cheap (38 p.p. HB) and with tasty food.
so, up to the mountain...
