I agree it needs some paint..The tension station hasnt been painted since 2005.

2005 i took a ride on the so called " JENNERBAHN" in Berchtesgaden, near to Salzburg. A VR 101 !!!!!

This model vr101 is powered by a 1/4th hp 90 degree gearmotor.motor is a variable speed that can turn up to 59 rpm.The torque rating on it is 128 foot pounds of torque.voltage is 0 to 90 volts dc.Counterweight is 22 lbs and has 24 inces of travel.Hope this helps you out.

To all my fellow model builders all over the world.We are taking down our Vonroll VR101 model very soon due to having to move.The new location is still not known.We are looking at 3 different places to live.One especially has alot of room and will be very long 9 towers and over a stream.The other locations are smaller but still able to put up the vonroll model..I have built my model out of pride and love for the vr101 systems all around the world.I wont post any deconstruction pictures due to it being very sad to do this.Love my model vr101 here in Lakeside ca.2005-2012.It will be back one way or another..Robert Acheson San Diego ca usa..

Thanks for the information. The fact you have a new location for the cableway is the most important so all modelcablewayfriends will be able to see the VR in the future too. Good luck for erecting at the new place.

But I really hope that you color the model new, because the old color was meanwhile not so good.

Thanks everyone.I already dug the foundation for tower 2....2 feet deep 16 in wide.As for being the same as my last one,not as much room at all.Im squeezin 3 towers in the back yard.Ride length is 55 feet.Drive is going to be elevated 2 feet off the ground.Max gondolas is 24.
