Yes! there are 3-4 amazing slopes for a total of 40 km of well prepared slopes! I think for Tuscan region is enogh but unfortunately on last 2 winters (as in the alpine area) the ski-season started too late!

there is another little ski area near my home in Siena but it's so vintage! Mt. Amiata ...

a lot of new snow in Abetone (tuscany) from 6-7 of november. So in 18th the company decided to open all slopes! some pic

There are some interesting freeride areas. However, you must know that appennine region (from tuscany to sicily) has a particular climate. You can have days of heavy snow, and the day after heavy rain. You can have rigid wind from east whit several snow precipitacions but also 10° at 1500 meter ...

This year has been extraordinary for abetone. You can actually find 180 cm at the botton and 350 cm in the top.

On March 22nd I have been visiting Abetone for the first time. I liked the whole area a lot and was impressed by the huge amount of snow present everywhere in the ski area.
On day later in Sestriere (23.03.) there was much less snow, even if we also had very good snow conditions in this Piemont ...

well, the actual snow level is not a "surprise"for us: our region is very rainy and our mountains can reach snow ...

last weekend I visited Schoneben! It's a very beautiful place to ski but It appears more little than racine and Reinswald. I visited too: Serfaus and Nauders. On next days I upload some new pics

I would like to visit Watles but next weekend I'm going to Resia with my friends: they think that a real skiresort must have at least 100 km of slopes

Ladurns is located northest from Vipten and it is an unknown ...

Plose is a beautiful place: a sunny skiresort watching dolomites of Wolkstein and St. Ulrich. But slopes are not so good like in Racines or Ladurns or Reinswald. There are 2 interesting slopes( The trametch is a great red slope) and a good freeride area.
But I never need to come back in Plose. I ...

I found racines too "crowded" this year
